would you rather....
sweet p Posted: Wed Nov 26 04:53:08 2003 Post | Quote in Reply
k, I want to see if this works...so I will start off by asking:

Would you rather have to fight Mike Tyson in public for one day or have to talk like him for the rest of your life?

and the next person answers my question and then makes a new "would you rather" for the person after them to answer, and so on...

Would you rather be content and homeless for the rest of your life, or be unhappy and wealthy for the rest of your life?

Would you rather loose your short term or long term memory?

that is, would you rather be like the man in Memento(forget things that happened two minutes ago, but remember everything before a certain event/date)...or totally forget everything that happened to you up until one point and start everything from scratch?

FN Posted: Wed Nov 26 17:19:04 2003 Post | Quote in Reply
Lose long term memory I guess.

What's the use of only living in the past?

Imagine having to discover over and over again that the one you loved is dead for example.

next question:

Would you rather be a piece of toilet paper or one of those vomit bags in a plane.

this one is a toughie... damn you addi! lol

well, i've had one long term. or at least it was the longest... 3 hours! haha, ok ok get real.

i've had proper relationships (which tend to get boring and you have to create the excitement lest the both of you lost interest in each other) and i've had a couple of flings here and there...

LONG!

Happy Belated Birthday, Ian! If I had known sooner I would have sent you a big wonderful fantastic expensive gift. But it's too late now. Crap!

On the birthday theme since I'm celebrating my 30th next week...

For you "older" GTers
Would you rather be turning 21 and have a depressing terrible birthday
or
Be turning 49 and have the best birthday you've ever had in your life?

marsi Posted: Fri Dec 5 17:04:42 2003 Post | Quote in Reply
21 for sure. I want to be 21 again...

Would you rather be an excellent musician or an excellent painter

  super bad bad sun burn.
(i've had those before, and if it doesn't blister you end up with a tan?)

city living and being too busy to have a family or living in the country with a great family but not getting to "live" in a party sort of way?

if it blisters (depending on how bad) it's actually considered a 2nd or 3rd degree burn already... in fact when you get a realli strong tan that feel real hot to the touch, it's already bordering on a 1st degree burn

damn to party or not to party... what is the question... i'd be lying if i said i dun wanna party. so i'll choose city living till i geel too old and decide to move into the country...

ADDI: thanks! to answer your q as well... i actually do not look to being 21 again... i'm rather happy being 27 to be honest.....
