Just wondering what equipment everyone is flying. Brand, browser, connection, location, etc.
Iíve got an Apple iBook running 10.3.1, not that anyone cares about the OS but whatever. My browser of choice is Safari, my email program is gifted with the inventive name of Mail, and I have ICQ to chatter with my sis. My connection is plain old dial up by way of a phone line running under my coffee table to the couch where I lounge to waste away my hours.
And the best time to be online is three in the morning!

ancient hp pc, probably steam powered, with a whopping 4gb hard drive, yes that's right 4gb ! windows 95, i like it because it's pretty much immune to viruses. internet explorer because it doesn't take any space on my hard drive.
i have a dsl connection in my den/office. i would recomment trillian to anyone who uses instant messaging. it allows you to communicate with all the different mediums and it's free !

Hey, first time on the forums. Found the site by googling for some quotes. But anyways, my setup is thus:
Homebuilt PC running Red Hat Linux 2.6.0-test10. I use mozilla, and the evolution email client. Gaim for instant messaging. Got cable internet that runs to my room.
And yes, Mouse, three in the morning is the best time to be online!

Welcome Malik! There's lots of cool stuff around here, and the people aren't too bad either. ;)
No one, 'sept Sailovzi, seems to understand my desire to be nocturnal. But night is the most fasinating time!
