  i hate christmas period.

too bloody commercial... they might as well changeit to SALENOWGIMMEGIMMEPRESENTSGIMMEGIMMEBUYBUYBUYWHATAREYOUGETTINGME day

bloody hell.

but on the other hand. the way i celebrate christmas is that i make my peace with god and christ. just a toast and a thank you for letting me have all that i own. i think that's my way of celebrating.

the only time where i really got into the spirit of christmas is when i was away from singapore for a period of time and saw how different christmas is for asians and the westerners.

to u guys, its not just a time to blatantly tell people to spend tons of cash. it's too bloody commercial here. but i see it in a western country cos it's part of your lives. it's a time of year where u spend it with the people that matters most.

i got into it while i sat there at the sidewalk (thank God for a summer christmases - hoorah for aussies) and i observe people. it's just different.

so there, that's my favourite christmas moment. pure happiness and goodwill.

oh yeah, and the reason to go out to drink myself silly

Christmas songs: Little Drummer Boy and Silent Night
Vacation Spot: I have never been on vacation during Christmas, but if I had a choice, I would go to Kenya, Africa
Fav. present I have ever recieved: a really nice stereo from my father a few years ago. I use it every day.

I am never much into the Christmas Spirit, but it is a nice ideal. I don't even believe in Christ.

fav. song: I'll be home for Chritmas

fav. present: My down comforter. I changed beds but that comforter goes everwhere it soooo comfortable and warm.

fav. vacation: I always stay at my parents. But when I was little we would go to my grandparents house. It was the best they lived in this tiny town and they always seemed to have snow for chritmas. My grandparents house was the coziest most wonderful place to be.

fav. movie: The Muppet's Christmas Carrol. I start watching this movie they day after Thanksgiving and watch it pretty much everyday until New Years.

I hate everything related to the commercialism of christmas. Jesus is cool, though.

My Favorite Things

(dedicated to all the GT plinkers, whom I'm glad have a good sense of humor)

Gold hoops on ear lobes and tatoos on tushes
Bright crimson lip gloss and warm wooley bushes
chat room relationships that come with no strings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Cream colored panties and white satin push ups
Red holey fishnets and schnitzels in C cups
Wild girls that tease with their minds on my schling
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in short dresses and black satin garters
Kisses that start on my toes just for starters
Neighbors complaining of squeeky bed springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When my dog farts
When my money departs
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad!

*believe me. I'm not proud of this one

The cheesy part of me loves "Last Christmas" by Wham. (But only as covered by James Dean Bradfield, mind. I've some standards.)

I try not to watch Christmas movies and specials on television, because they all tend to be nauseatingly sentimental.

My house is decorated for Christmas, which is odd as I'm not going to be here. Such is life - I'm going home to spend a couple of days with my family, most of whom I haven't seen in ages. I think my favourite vacation spot for Christmas has got to be Canmore, Alberta, maybe forty minutes west of Calgary. It's like Banff, only without the tourists. And no-one seems to care if I roam through the streets with some friends and some guitars serenading passers-by with renditions of cheesy Christmas carols.

Yay Christmas. :)

Thanks, Jazer. It's a talent sometimes used for evil and not good though. Merry Christmas!

I have been made fun of so much for the last few weeks because I love this movie and want my roommates to watch it with me as I do every year....but they think it's boring.
