Awful Movies
novemberrain Posted: Thu Feb 12 18:40:50 2004 Post | Quote in Reply
I'm making a list of movies that suck...that I have either seen or heard about. A friend and I like to watch and mock them horribly. (Kind of like MST3K...which I wish was still on the air.)

Good times.

Any suggestions? And feel free to explain exactly why you don't like any particular movie.

you just reminded me of my college bud Joel Hodgkins. He was the originator of Mystery science theatre 3000, and stared in it when it first hit the tube. He was a strange guy.

So many movies fit this list for me. The last one I remember seeing was Zoolander. I had a passionate dislike for that movie

You have to be kidding right? The abyss is one of the best movies, ever. Now the worst movie has to have been 'surf ninjas'

Pretty much anything with Barbra Streisand in it.
Something about that woman makes me nauseous.
I'd rather slide naked on a giant cheese grater than watch that bitch on film.

It's funny that growing up I liked Streisand, and thought Funny Girl and On a Clear Day were great movies. But now if I catch them on the tube I can't bear to sit through them. I guess tastes change.
I did like one JLo movie I saw. Can't remember the name. but it was an action movie with George Clooney, and she played a cop. I was forced to watch Maid in Manhatten on a flight and when it was over I felt mentally violated.

the "city of joy" movie as a movie i felt was a good show, but when reading the book....
it did the book no justice what so ever...

so now if they make the movie from a book, i avoid reading the book before watching the movie if i've not read it before, else i'll ignore the show altogether

HaHA!! Okay, what if it was a broadway play first? Would you fly to New York and catch it first, and avoid the book, but see the movie? Or would you see the movie first, then avoid the play, and only read pages 46 through 89 in the book?

LOL!!!
that's taking it a little too far!
see... if there was a direct flight from Dingapore all the way to NYC it'd be at least 18 hours there abouts... NAH!
i'll wait for the reviews and read those instead! haha

  Night of the Lepus

It's about a bunch of giant killer bunnies. I saw it about 10 years ago, maybe more, but it's still at the top of my "Worst Movies Ever" list.
