Belgium Doesnt Exist!

  Lol.

Take a look at this:

http://zapatopi.net/belgium.html

That 'typical Belgian building' is the Atomium by the way, it represents an iron atom if I remember correctly.

By the way, just thought this was interesting:

I was reading Humo and the Pop Poll results were in.

It's an annual poll to which the readers can respond.

Anyway, here are some of the results (10119 people voted) :

Dick of the year:

1. GW Bush (4544 votes)
10. Michael Jackson (56)
11. Tony Blair

Who has made you laugh the most?

5. GW Bush (372 votes)

  About the Atomium:

The Atomium was designed by Eugene Waterkeyn, and meant to symbolize the scientific progress of the nation. Made of aluminum, 350 feet high, representing an atom of iron (not a molecule, as often claimed). The nine spheres are the component electrons. A fast elevator goes to the top and escalators link the different spheres. Inside the spheres are exhibitions illustrating peaceful uses of the atom.

Never been to your home Christophe. I've been to Aachen a few times, which is close to the border I believe. I would really like to see Bruges sometime. Would like to drink a beer near the river at a quaint resturant, and say nasty things about the french out loud in broken anglo-german. perhaps even give you a few pointers on how to wow zee plinkers, eh?!

  Hi Christophe,
Yes just after I 1st came to Canada...I "whirlwinded" through Europe and Asia... Ghent then Brussels then some other town can't remember the name, on the French border...LOVED it there! Are you from any of those places?

FN Posted: Tue Mar 23 16:31:56 2004 Post | Quote in Reply
I live a few kilometres from Ghent, will be living there next year because of my studies.

It's not german addi, it's flemish, a dutch dialect :o)

If you ever have the chance to visit some of our towns like Ghent and Bruges, you really should, it will be worth your time and effort.

Lot's of impressive medieval buildings and truckloads of history.

well of course it is silly! I don't know flemish so i could only speak broken german. unless i got pretty drunk in which case i can speak any language fluently.

LOL!! I just love towns with truckloads of history! I try to stay away from the european towns with only a small compact car full of history. they suck! : )

thanks, Hon! You are... so beautiful....toooo meeeee....

i thought about that, but the picture was so small it was too hard to work on. Anyway it just would have pissed people off
if I would have put hif's pic on the scarecrow (who needed a brain)
and Christophe's pic on the tin man (who needed a heart)
and mat_j's pic on the lion (who needed courage)
and your pic on Dorothy (who needed a good lay) it would have gotten ugly : )

hehe, i thought christophe should be the tin man too...hehe...we all know he has a heart, but it's hidden sometimes...I like your choices for the others as well, hehe. I think the movie would've been way more interesting if dorothy got to hang out with christophe, mat j and hif...i don't think she'd ever get home, she'd end up staying there as they took over the emerald city and munchkinland...

LOL You are one of a kind!
If you're referring to the red around her feet those are her famous ruby slippers. I wasn't aware that Dorothy also had the wicked witches red thong panties, but maybe they were a matching set.

Never seen the movie, I should be ashamed of myself I know.

But since I've been thinking about taking over munchkinland I'm very interested though.
