Good job, chanz!! When we finally have our get together in a bar somewhere you and i can stand in the "No Smoking" section off in the corner lol

FN Posted: Wed Mar 24 06:50:45 2004 Post | Quote in Reply
Research has shown that 'no smoking' sections have no use unless they are clearly seperated, like with doors and walls, but not in a bar for example.

no smoking section in a bar is stupid, like a no farting section in a public restroom. Or a no peeing section in a swimming pool.
However, I do appreciate no smoking areas in restaurants. It's nice not to have to smell smoke while I am eating.

Chanz, welcome back, we missed you and your futile resistance.
I know this is a ridiculous question, but it must be asked - are you much better looking now after the nose job, or would that even be possible ?

FN Posted: Wed Mar 24 07:10:10 2004 Post | Quote in Reply
As a convinced non-smoker I think it's appalling to have to stand for other people decaying my longs along with theirs.

I don't care what they do with their own body, but I don't smoke so I shouldn't have to deal with the negatif effects either.

It's like I'd run around with a foghorn going off all the time while I myself would be deaf.

People who smoke aren't bothered by it ofcourse, but 2nd hand smoke is actually more dangerous than that what the smoker him/herself inhales since that goes through a filter first.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not getting pissed off everytime I see somebody smoking, but my friends have learned to keep their sigarretes and smoke away from me.

hey, I DEAL in metaphore. everything I say is a metaphore. okay. not really. but i use them a lot. it helps with my ambiguity. i also like those bizarre little similes and things you get in hard-boiled crime fiction. like:

"that went down quicker than a hooker's panties"

Somehow that brings an image to my mind of a black and white detective-movie of the 50's.

I love sarcasm.

I think about 60% of the time I'm talking to my friends and family I'm making some kind of sarcastic remark.
