So, in the morning (well in 4 hours time) im going to be going to theme park...im 23 and so excited that i cant sleep.....this leads to my question, what makes my fellow GTers not be able to sleep? I have a top 3
1) First day before school/work
2) THEME PARKS
3) Day before im due to go on holiday!!!

YAY im going to risk my life for a reasonable price with some of my closest friends....

Btw, its a halls/dorm trip before i finish my degree which gives it that extra no sleep flavour!

  1) seeing friends I haven't seen in a while
2) if I'm stressed

Have fun Maya:)

Somebody always changes the subject(whether they mean to or not). It's my turn. The last time that I thought that I might puke was at a Perkins. I was hangin out with buds and one was making a pile of left-overs. It was mostly ice cream. She eats some and offers some to everyone else. I have a weakness for doing whatever an attractive woman wants me to, so I took some. Unfortunately, I can't keep certain things down, such as peaches or noode-ish things(slimy stuff). I got a huge chunk of jam.

I had a hard (pun intended) time falling asleep when my ex-gf was sleeping over lol

Thought the time could be spent better in a different way.

Other than that I have learned not to let stuff bother me anymore.

I am an extremely emotionally stable person, and I wouldn't want to have it any other way.

Time doesn't heal all wounds, apathy does.

  What keeps me up, hoy...
Knowing that I need to go to sleep right now.
My damn hyperactive brain.
Light coming in under my bedroom door.
The sounds in my house.
My stupid dog barking.
Thinking about GT.
Thinking about going somewhere the next day.
My uncomfortable bed(too soft, not enough pillows, my freakish bones).
The carved-in-stone fact that I can not sleep before 2am.
Argh, sometimes I love it, sometimes I just want some darn sleep.
May JQ bless you,
High Priestess Mouse

When she can't sleep, I can't sleep. Blasted psychic link.

Otherwise, my thoughts keep me awake a lot. My brain switches to turbo as soon as I lie down.

Sometimes if I'm going on a trip the next day. Leaving home is always a negative thing for me, no matter how cool the other place might be.

  erm.

i sleep like a log most of the times.

but things that keep me from my precious sleep are:-

1) not being able to complete my stupid xbox games

2) perth. really i am that 'homesick'

3) stuff like my life. certain question like 'is this as good as it gets?"

when i get hurt, i tend to dwell on everything... do a whole post-mortem when i lie down to sleep. that keeps me awake. and sad.

Things that keep me from sleeping...

Chronic insomnia, since I was 12. (I average between 3-5 hours a night, but can survive on 2 for a few weeks before my body decides its time to shut down)

ghosts and demons of my mind

worries about my wife

worries about my kids

neighbors having loud sex upstairs

highway construction crews

that white noise in your head that doesn't really have a name and its made up of a lot of different issues that are confronting you at the time. Maybe that's just called stress.

my right shoulder dislocating as I lay down to go to sleep, need to fix that one day.

Ask them if you can join them if the woman is hot.

Sleep with a fan on. It blows all your troubles away (untill morning). I can't sleep without one, unless I'm camping.
If I have to sit and listen to the deafening sound of my own thoughts, or the normal creaks of the house, or road noise I'd go bonkers. That's why i never sent an audition tape in for any of the survivor tv shows

"whaddya mean I can't have my fan?! No electricity?!! I'd end up being the first murderer on the show.
