What floats your boat?

In life it's often hard to see the point in making an effort. I think its important just to take a sec to look back and think 'What floats my boat?' :P or if you dont speak mental, then think on all the shit that makes life worthwhile. Im interested to see what GTers live for :)

I'd say food and sex as well.

But sex with a girl I love and who loves me back though. Cliché but I really think it's better and more intense.

not reali cliche... that's why there is a difference between just plain ol' "wanna fuck" and "making love"

  simplicity -
horseback riding
watching lightning bugs on a summer evening
laying under the stars
falling asleep on my someone special
going for a walk on an autumn day
the sound of the ocean
laughing until it hurts.
(these things just give me a moment of peace)

Books and art. (that includes making my own) These two most of all.

There is a lot more. I just can't seem to think of things off the top of my head.

Who said that life was worthwhile? :)

I guess it would be the moment of triumph for me. It doesn't matter what it is, be it in an argument, a game of volleyball, a videogame, a nice board game, (those are my activites I do the most) or anything else. For about ten seconds when I make an awesomely great shot, or completely smash an argument, or whatever, and everyone watching/playing/around just goes, "Great shot," or "Nice hit," or "How the hell did you move seven spaces ahead?", that's when I feel good. It doesn't happen very often, maybe a once or twice a week, but it feels good.

I guess it's because I'm a super-competitive person.

Ah yes I know what you mean, I'm also of the extremely ambitious/competitive type and I love to win.

Victory tastes almost as sweet as revenge.

I tried to think of things, but realized that I'm living for all of it. I'm living for trees, for friends, for people i've never met before, for people i've met and disliked, for the flowers in my backyard and all the animals in the world. I"m living for all of it, everything in the world. I love stories, and the story of everything here is one of the most fascinating. So I'm living to find out what happens next, to see whether that guy in my soc class will talk to me, to listen to that next song, to protect the things dearest to me and to enjoy the ride.
