  Ohh, I'm GREAT.
Tonight I went to a Mod Club...it was really fun. I've never been to one like it...got all dressed up and ready to dance. I don't know what it's like where you guys are from but none of the clubs I've been to are like this one. Everyone was really happy and friendly and it was just like a big party with all of your friends.

They played a lot of old music and brit pop.

Awesome.

i feel that the british and european scene in music is far more experimental and fresh than american music.

the americans stick to a certain sound and milk it for what it's worth.

the only few genres of music of the US which i listen are hip hop, blues and jazzand sometimes metal.

the rest are just recycled shit.

I just realized that if i want to be an Anthropologist, I'm going to have to be in school for my whole life practically-well, for the next ten or eleven years. I don't want that, because as much as I like anthropology, I don't think I could handle being in school for such a long time. What if i get halfway through and realize that I don't want to do it? or what if it's hard and I do badly?

On the other hand, the other major I am considering is English(totally opposite, i know) and I don't know whether that's really my thing or not. I know that I want to be a teacher. But I dont know whether I should teach Anthro in community college, or english in high school or community college, or whether I should do something else...I feel like everything I do is resting on what happens in the next few semesters at the Junior College. I went to the jc to put off decisions, but i think its made the decisions harder.

I feel like I don't really like anything enough to be in it as a career. I love anthro, but its SUCH a competitive field and that doesn't really work with my personality. I love literature, reading, writing and a lot of things in english, but right now my english teacher is such a complete idiot that its hard to like it.

I know i'm overreacting to all of this, and it'll all sort itself out, but I just wish i just was more sure of what i wanted and where i was going...

Not dismissing your feelings, Libra, but ride it out. things will get clearer in the future. Then they'll get all muddy again. Then they'll clear up again. I'm still trying to decide what to do with my life.

Sometimes I think having so many choices about what to do sucks. The burden of freedom, eh?

yea...i agree...if only my goal in life was to be married off and spend the rest of my life in the kitchen...

but i do know what you mean...i keep on thinking about things i could do and I'm always thinking "that sounds good, maybe i'll do that" and "oh, i'll have to do that too. So far I want to: be involved in the film industry, be a photojournalist for national geographic, be a teacher, study primates, dig up bones and be an anthropologist, fight crime as an international spy...
