eulogy

ok....now i didn't take this into consideration before answering the question....but if you really think about it, a eulogy, and really everything else that happens after you die, isn't actually for you, but for those that are left behind without you. so the aim of your eulogy should really just be to make whoever's listening to it feel better, right?

yeah, my eulogy was just a joke when i wrote it, but yeah when i saw what the question thats what i though, that the ceremony and the funeral all together was pretty much just for the ones you left behind, too maybe make them feel some closure, and even feel a little better, considering something sad just happened.

who cares how the fuckers feel? my eulogy is gonna write itself and anyone hearing it and having known me'll have nothing but respect and perhaps a little jealousy that they didn't live such a life. this is not the case, if i die tomorrow, but it's in the works.

I doubt you'll need it, Puck. :)

Ehm, sorry, I'm a little goofy today. I promise I'll be calmer tomorrow, but until then I'm going to laugh like a maniac and hug everyone. I know I'll regret it tomorrow...

That's creepy if you laugh like a maniac while hugging someone.

how many of ya have read Tuesdays with Morrie?

he was gonna croak and didn't want to miss out on all the nice things that people would say so he staged a
"funeral" and invited relatives and friends to speak...

A teacher read it to my class in the 6th grade. I saw the made-for-tv movie of it, too.
