On different news today:

European and Flemish elections are over.

I cut on of my fingers today.

Don't worry plinkers, my left middlefinger is undamaged.

I am still in need of sex.

Tomorrow I have the 2nd (biggest) part of my mathematics exam.

Other than that nothing important going on in the world today ;o)

I know, cuz when I first started living with my girlfriend we each had our own different little habits that got on each other's nerves soooo bad we almost broke up... It's been 4 years we've been living together now and we still get on each other's nerves a lot.

But we come from different backgrounds, so that may have a little to do with it...

I lived in Puerto Vallarta most of my life and was in constant contact with foreign people and different cultures and she was stuck in a ditzy little town in the middle of Mexico with more contact with cows and chickens than with other human beings... LOL

Anyway, good luck Libra, but -do- get to know each other before either of you decides to move to be with each other!

I'm a recovering good girl.
Every time someone says something nice to me I fight the instinct to blush, complement them back, and stutter something self deprecating. I also find it impossible to tell people off when I know they deserve it, or flirt competently, and I can't dance. :(

That sounds SOOOO familiar. I was the same way, and still am quite often. For me, a person came along(guess who!?) and made me feel like I could do things I never did before. Like talk to people, and accept compliments without telling the person they're crazy and I'm not worthy, etc. He made me feel like who I was was perfect and I changed a bit, not just around him, but with everyone else around me. So, something, someday will happen to break that shell a bit, it might be a person you meet, something you realize you have to do, or maybe you'll get to the point where you're fed up of standing on the sidelines. I know what that feels like, and i did it for a long enough time that I felt comfortable enough there to tell myself that it was alright, that I could do that forever...but i'm slowly changing my mind about that...

I *can* dance, just not as well as I would like. I only dance when lots of others are dancing or alone in my room. And I've had zero flirting practice, no one of interest within miles of me. *shrug*

You can hide under my bed, but I can't promise she won't still hunt you down. :P

*Hugs libra* I'm proud of you. I'm working on it myself, slowly.

  Hey Mouse

Your pic is awesome.

Gary is cool, but I'm more of a fan of William and Marg. Jorga's not that bad either.

Thanks, novemberrain.
Jorga kicks butt but Gary's eyes kill me every time, Eric is cool too. I love all the characters, they're very dimensional next to most other shows.
I'm hopelessly addicted to CSI, hehe. :)

Not to worry, Chris. I'm an equal opportunity kind of girl.

I only have the first season. Would you be inerested in joining a Warrick centered CSI cult? I know where to send you. ;) I've seen the comics but I haven't had a chance to read them. I started to write a fanfic but realized it wouldn't be any good unless I killed off the character I had intended to be the main character. Oops.

woohoo. yay for being equal opportunity:) Hence why I am in addi's army.

hehe. I killed one of the characters in my story. I actually pretty much do that in all the fanfic I write (not just CSI). I just can't help myself.

You said something kind of like that a while ago, I forget who you said it to... probably addi. The 'I never!' part was a definate Sailovzi-ism. :)
She's talking to me! :D

How... fiberous. Tell Ludwig to be careful, you never know when you could get a bad one.
Good day plinkers and plonkers, I'm going to bed soon.
Hugs, Mouse

Topic? What topic? There was a topic?
I like this senseless banter that has been going on. Is there anything so wrong with it?

An invitation... Perhaps, but the question is, who is it addressed to?

Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honali,
Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff,
and brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff. Oh

Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honali,
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honali.

Together they would travel on a boat with billowed sail
Jackie kept a lookout perched on Puff's gigantic tail,
Noble kings and princes would bow whene'er they came,
Pirate ships would lower their flags when Puff roared out his name. Oh!

Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honali,
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honali.

A dragon lives forever but not so little boys
Painted wings and giant's rings make way for other toys.
One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar.

His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain,
Puff no longer went to play, along the cherry lane.
Without his life-long friend, Puff could not be brave,
So Puff that mighty dragon sadly slipped into his cave. Oh!

Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honali,
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honali.

sadly, i was around when that song came out. It's bizarre that many "establishment" people took it as a veiled drug song and chastized Peter,Paul, and Mary about singing it.
Talk about paranoid times
