Dear friends,

Hullo!

I am now officially recovered from the weekend and I wanted to say that I MISS YOU.

How was your weekend?
Mine was busy...
I don't mind if you don't care but I am going to tell you what I did anyway.

On Thursday, I got to meet an NHL player [!!] from my favourite team -> The Toronto Maple Leafs [yayayayay]. He gave me a signed hockey puck, a hug and then posed for a picture and that was exciting. Afterwards, I went to Toys R Us and played with the big stuffed animals and tried out some bikes, just like when I was little. Then I had dinner with a nice boy.

That night I had a party at an Irish Pub called "The Unicorn". There, a kinda-lame band named "The One And Only" played that old song I'm sure you've heard called "Every Time You Go Away" [by Paul Young] and they dedicated it to me. I had not heard it in years. Since then, I have heard it FOUR damn times. I saw a million people from high school that night whom I hadn't seen in years. They all bought me beer for my birthday. I don't remember the rest of the night.

Friday morning, at 10:45am, I turned 22 years old [oh my].

After that, I had to call and place some orders for camp supplies [camp starts on the 28th and I am arts director]. I had to put the lady on hold twice to run to the bathroom due to nausea....stupid beer.

Friday afternoon, I packed my bags and headed over to the bus station to meet my friends to go CAMPING! Unfortunately, I had to take my luggage on the public bus and I hit a woman on the head with my sleeping bag and she was not impressed. After that, the small stuffed bear that lives in my pillow case fell out and I was embarrassed :(

The camp site was next to a marsh and it was excellent. The marsh was filled with lilly pads and I took some photos.

Friday night more people bought me more beer :'(

Saturday morning, I felt GREAT [surprisingly] and then I went on a hike and took along my [2nd] best friend -my digi cam- and found the snake trail, some really awesome DRAGONFLIES [!!!] and a cool rock. I came back and my friends were dressed for the beach so we went over and I got a nice tan. A couple hours later, the crazy kids we met from the camp site next to us, invited us to come along with them to "The Bridge". Those guys were CRAZY. They jumped off the bridge into the lake and nearly died. We decided to skip the jumping part and we met them over on the other side of the bridge where there was a nice waterfall and we went swimming there instead. That evening I had some of the best hamburgers I have ever tasted and then I took a nap.

That night there was MORE beer. But most importantly, the biggest and most beautiful campfire I have ever seen, smores, hot dogs, excellent music, and some really good company.

Sunday morning, we woke up early to pack up and had some delicious breafast fruit salad and muffins. The drive home was long and I was grumpy and sad to go back to the city. I waited 30 minutes at the bus station for Mums to come pick me up. She was angry when every 5 seconds I was trying to show her another photo from the trip and obsuring her vision of the road.

Monday I had to wake up WAY TOO EARLY to receive the shipment at camp and then set up my work station. That took 7 terribly hours.
At night, I went to see "Dodgeball"...it was silly funny...But there was a girl sitting behind me in the audience that had the ugliest laugh I have ever heard and she ruined the viewing. She was told to shut up by 2 different people during the course of the movie. I have never wanted to shoot anyone in the foot more than I wanted to do to her that night.

Today I slept on my couch.

So...what's new with you?

Love, Priscilia

Honestly, the amounts my small body handled this weekend amazed me!
This weekend however, I am going up to the cottage...

You can't have a weekend with the boys, sitting on the dock, reading a book or listening to music without a beer! But I won't have as much this time, I promise.

Dagnabit, he beat me to it.
Sounds like a rosksome weekend. The camping sounds great, I won't tell you about my weekend cause it was trying and boring and generally stressful. Not that I'm complaining or anything. :P
However I did get to flit around hugging people, which is always good.
Missed ya, welcome back.

  PS.
If I had to choose a favourite, I think the reddish you have in the picture is the best colour...

Be careful though...Hif likes em red.

Everytime You Gain a Year -
By Yaul Poung

Hey! If god can solve any problem
Then why have I lost so many years?
Oh, and so you go again
When the younger hockey hunk appears (shit!)

Always a Sweet thing
Can't you see, you've got everything goin' on and on and on!

Every time you gain a year I make a little toast with you
Even though you're far away I'll raise my glass for a friend like you

Live on and live free, (yeah P)
Too bad you're too far to see!
I can't feel through so many miles
But that doesn't mean i can't sense your smiles

I could go on sayin' the same thing
P
can't you see, you've got everything and now you know I know

Every time you gain a year I make a little toast with you, oh
Every time you gain a year I make a little toast with you

I could go on sayin' the same thing
'Cause Sweet P, can't ya see, you've got everything goin' on and on and on

Every time you gain a year I make a little toast with you
Even though you're far away I'll raise my glass for a friend like you!

*Happy belated 22nd Sweet
Wish you nothing but happiness!

Addi and Ludwig
with sincere apologises to Paul Young

Someone here (hint) needs to take the inititive and compile a list of birthdays (for Gters under 40).

That way we wouldn't overlook sending them birthday wishes, and they wouldn't have to start a thread announcing it themselves.
Overlooking a regular's birthday here just isn't good form : )

Mister Addi, the song is wonderful!
Paul Young would be...........proud.
