Someone just showed me this site where you can get a free iPod if you and five other people sign up for something like eBay. I don't know whether or not it said if people outside the U.S. or Canada could do it, though. If anyone wants to check it out, you can be my friend and do it through this link:

http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=7380964

or you can rot in the pits of eternal hell and just go through http://www.freeiPods.com

I doubt it that you'll ever get a free ipod.

No, I've checked all over the web and the site is completely valid - everyone that has gotten five people to do it has gotten a free iPod.

I just did.

What the hell are you talking about? You appear to be making vague references to some scam that is invisible.

Free Andrew Innes Remix on line -- just go to poptones.co.uk/news.htm and scroll down a bit -- well worth it.

It says that you'll keep getting spam and that there is no way to get off the list, for one thing.

They can chose not to give you the points if they feel like it without having to tell you why.

Stuff like that, just read it.

I've heard a few instances of people not getting points, but that's because they signed up for something and cancelled it a few days later - you have to wait until after getting points if you're going to do that - as for the e-mail, I didn't give them my normal e-mail address, I did one I use for that sort of thing. Or you could use a disposable e-mail address.

Is it your mission in life to ruin everyone's fun? Anyway, I already told you, I'm not using my usual e-mail address.

And if you want, you can use disposable e-mails. Those are ones that certain websites will make for you that will last for a certain number of days then be deleted - during that time, all e-mail going to them will be forwarded to yours. And because the iPods site let's you update things like you're e-mail address, you can change it to a new one if your disposable e-mail site doesn't let you use it for as long as you need.

  Haha.

I like bursting people's bubble yes, I'm just saying that if something looks too good to be true, it is.

And I meant your home adress when they send it to you.

When I get my free iPod it's going up as my new icon so I can flaunt it unmercilessly.

The only problems is there is a bill in Congress to ban iPods to some extent as they apparently induce people to commit illegal acts.

Haha, you're implying I have privacy. I'm not even going to bother to pretend most of the stuff I've done has remained private, and I don't care if two people who I know know my address, at which I will be living at for only two or three more years.

Speaking of privacy, thanks to the Patriot Act, John Ashcroft and his buddies can look at what I take out at the library without my notification. If they were to notice that the last five books I've taken out have either had to do with communism, socialism, or were written by Al Franken, (or maybe a combination), I'd be monitored anyway.

I'm in the U.S. I'm used to not having any privacy.

It's called the Induce Act, sponsored by Senators Orrin Hatch and Patrick Leahy. It would ban or limit or something products which might induce one to download illegal music or movies or games, such as iPods (which is retarted because iPods were made largely to take advantage of iTunes).

It's just smoke and mirrors. It will never pass and it's sponsors know it.
Bills like this one were tried when people started recording their stuff on reel to reel and cassettes. Everytime a new technology comes around someone tries to squelch it because it makes trouble for old technologies.
Senator Hatch is paying lip service to the RIAA with this bill. Nothing more.

The old Gters are fading away because their powers are weakening. I think the evil leapers from Quantum leap have killed Aeon and are sapping Addi of his memory every night. Who knows where the casualties will end, whos next? Some say Mouse and some say Christophe, but I think he's to bellicose to die.

well Mat...hah...here's ONE reason: you "LEFT ME OUT AGAIN, MAN" but, hey, dude, maybe you don't "consider" me an ole GTER?? Maybe? I dunno. LOL

But, just the same, you're making a good point. Where the hell is the spirit and cohesion gone??? Where IS everyone?

I'm not sure if I'm referring to the same thing, but I read in the papers about certain governmental organisations banning iPods because the large harddrive capacities enable people to easily download sensitive data and smuggle it out.

this site is total legit, the only time you don't get points is if you cheat. cheat you will get caught but follow the rules and you will earn an ipod. yes I said earn because the company has to make money and tha inclueds you working to get refs. they have other websites that give away other stuff and they are all llegit. Gratis networks have earned a reputation, a good one. your privacy is not sacrifice cause they don't care who you are they only care if you get people to sign up for stuff that gets them paid.

http://www.FreeiPodShuffle.com/?r=15313801
http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=7225910
http://www.FreePSPs.com/?r=15440465

but why don't you try out a few of these and do it legitamitly and see, you will get what they offer, some of my friends have gotten ipods and tech tv even did a story on it, legitamising it.
