  Simpleman Journals
Snowflakes
30082004.
-----------------

Snowflakes.
to many it means the winter season.
to many it means white powdery things that float into your hands and melt into you.

for me.
snowflakes have a different meaning.

for me snowflakes meant a celebration of a relationship...

she fell in love with a snowflake ring last year...
and i saw the glow in her eyes when she first set her eyes on it.
i knew the moment she saw it that it would be hers...
it took me a while to save up for her snowflakes because all i wanted was to see the look on her face when she opens the box.

a commitment ring. something to show her what she means to me.

i tried to keep it till her birthday but couldn't bear to torture her with the suspense so i presented to her a few days before her birthday.

and the look of joy made everything worthwhile.

her silence, and her squeals of joy...
and that was her favourite present.

these things i will remember all my life.

one year on... how fast time flies.

snowflakes do melt into you... and melt into your soul and become tears

  Love the last line.

Anyway, I know what look you're talking about, it's great isn't it.

My mother told me today that she had seen my ex and that my ex was talking to my mother how much she missed her and stuff like that. What's wrong with people.

My brother's ex's do the same thing. My mom goes to lunch with them and its just really weird. My mom will invite them to family functions and you've got my brother, the mother of his child, his kid, and like three of his ex's and his current girlfriend in the same room. I don't know that there are words to describe walking into a situation like that. Definatly weird.

eek. I know a girl who holds on to her ex's incase she needs them.. They still go on family outings and dinners and stuff.. she'll use them for money etc as if they still go out with her.. and get them to drop her at her boyfriends house. Its one of the lowest things I have ever seen anyone do and she has no idea. *spits*
