libra gets sappy once again.

Last night i was lying in bed, and i had this sort of sad feeling that although i wish i could meet many of you, it probably couldnt happen. Do you ever just wish that instead of calling up a friend that you're not getting along with too well at the time, you could pick up the phone and dial a GTer?

But then I realized that maybe that's the beauty of gt. It gives me the reassurance that there are other people out there that feel similarly to the way I feel, or agree with me on something, or understand.

Anyway, that sort of popped into my head. So thanks you guys, for being here.

  hey Libra,
yah, I know what you mean. Glad I know who you are and have to opportunity of this forum. :-)

i can relate, Libra. Last year I remember staring a thread myself about being tired of just writing and wanting to actually meet other friends here at a bar in person and laugh and get stupid together....
...then I found out 2/3rds of you aren't even of legal age to drink yet...and that Christophe has a reputation of getting "handsy" with the boys when they wear Levi's 505 regular fit faded blue jeans with black cowboy boots (what I wear).

So now I'm just hoping for phone sex someday with a canadian

I've talked to many fellow GTers on MSN and it's been great! Much more personal but all my experiences have been SUPER. You are a wonderful bunch, all of you,(even the tormentors lol). We're all here, 'cause it satisfies SOME need in us, and, too, probably because we have identified a known/unknown commonality, (methinks :-)

I'm not gay but for you I'll make an exception addy.

I have the legal drinking age btw, it's 16 here. But I don't drink anyway :o)

Ive been using this site for a long time but have only started posting on a regular basis for the last few months. But I am supprised on the uniqueness of the site. I dont know of many other site where like minded people just take part and chat on a regular basis...

When I talk about it to my family they are suprised that I can talk to people who are half way accross the world from me.

I'm glad I found this site and happy to be a part of it

I think it would be a good thing.

I just started college and haven't been able to find anyone who can hold a decent conversation (sort of like what chanz was saying in his thread). The people here a great, nice people... but it's tough to find people who want to talk about things other than sports, classes, television... sometimes I feel like no one reads or thinks unless it is for a grade (or for a paycheck, let's face it... for the most part, lots of people strike me as dull).

If I were to run into even one person like any of you I'd probably poop my pants.

I'm working on that.

I'd like to meet many of you in a setting such as the GT Cafe. Sometimes there just needs to be a voice and a face to go with the words on the screen.

By the way, it's interesting how all chores around the house sound like acts of a sexual nature.

Doing the dishes

taking out the trash

vacuuming the carpet

feeding the fish

making pancakes

Do the laundrey

etcetera
