What's in your toilet?
lazyelephant Posted: Wed Feb 2 22:33:00 2005 Post | Quote in Reply
ok, the current poll question is just a little silly to me. i mean, who goes to the bathroom to stare down into their toilet bowl to try to read the fine print throught the scum?

and who's to say that the toilet bowl even has anything in it to read?

maybe the toilet is supposed to talk to you...like some kind of counselor or something.

i think it would be pretty amazing if there were newspapers, novels, magazines, and comics in my toilet bowl. it would really astound me if they talked.

wait--maybe they do! in any case, how am i supposed to answer such an absurd question?

i really need some advice on this, as the question may be up for awhile and will bug me until i lay it to rest.

any readable talking toilet bowls out there?

i think i need to go check mine...

Ya see, some people need a little encouragement or some cheering to get started. Like on that episode of Spin City.

>i think it would be pretty amazing if there were newspapers, novels, magazines, and comics in my toilet bowl.

Mine has an electric braille toilet-seat. MAN, that thing tickles!

>any readable talking toilet bowls out there?

Well, The Tick thought that Arthur's toilet was talking to him.

i dunno about readable or talking toilet bowls but there is U.S. Patent #3593345 Aka the "Whisper Seat" that prides its self in the fact that it is a toilet seat with an acoustical barrier that will help keep those embarrassing from others ears.
Or, if you're silent in those matters anyway and fearful of others soiling your porcelain god maybe US Patent #3477070 is more for you. This Patent was awarded for the Toilet Lid Lock that keeps unauthorized users from your God's sacrificing area.
For those of us who do like to take something with us to read, but really rather not turn on the light for reasons of our own there's the Super Bowl 2000. A seat that glows in the dark.

Maybe it is time for a speaking bowl or something...

Sometimes I try to spell words, but the problem is that some characters are really hard to make... Other times I just go for freestyling

Unless you were eating faeces I don't see the problem.

And as a friend of mine always says, it all comes out the same colour anyway, unless something's up with your bowels.

Anyway, I do most of my reading in the bathtub/on the shitter.

People who don't read on the toilet or in the tub are terrible sinners

That has to be one of the funniest/ silliest things I have ever heard.

It sounds like a part of the seven deadly sins... Maybe it's the lost eighth?

You make it seem like those are the same thing. Do you bathe in a toilet or shit in a tub?

Not on purpose.

It's one of the reasons why I don't drink.
