  Things I Love:

Rain. Be it mist or pissing down I love it.

Movies. Almost exclusivley comedies, Anchorman now being my favourite, followed closely by Dodgeball for the greatest joke in existence "Who is Steve the Pirate?"

Music. Not all music, not even all the songs I listen too but what I like to call "The Money Note" Much like in Gladiator when Crowe takes his helmet off and declares to the emperor that he has effectivley returned from the dead, the Money note is that part of the song that sends shivers down your spine.

My Reclining Chair/Widescreen Tv combo. Its technically my parents but I like nothing more than sitting in it all day watchong TV pretending to be doing research for a script.

Comedy. Mainly the creation of by me, as a scriptwriter nothing is more boring to me than fashioning a well crafted story when there are cheap toilet gags to be made.

Things I hate:

Sunny Weather. It looks nice sure, but as an overweight man with an incredible array of body hair the heat is not my friend.

My "Job". Sadly not being a proper or "professional" scriptwriter i have to work in an insurance company 8 hours 4 days a week between 5pm and 1am. Its far more preferable to a 9-5 job for me but it just the fact I have to work for money, thats going to change once my script about a BBC documentary crew following around a Vietnam Veteran who is now a badminton player and who thinks he is an albino aFrican Amercian when in fact he is just adopted!

Illness. Being sick for me is the worse feeling, followed closely by the very best feeling, that euphoric feeling after being sick, funnily enough its also the same feeling you get after the pain of being kicked in the nuts has subsided.

Yes. There's no greater euphoria for a plonker than, after suffering through the heartbreak of a kick in the nuts, to feel the numbness dissapate and have the boys spring to life.

Scene from "Young Frankennuts":

"They're alive..they're ALIVE!!"

(something is definately wrong with me today)

*post more, hairy friend

Mesh Posted: Tue Feb 15 08:26:28 2005 Post | Quote in Reply
Getting kicked in the nuts sucks. The pain starts out localized to the lockation of the kick, then quickly spreads, like a ripple in a placid lake, up into the stomach, the chest, the lower back.

Especially the lower back, for me at least. It also knocks the wind out of you somehow. I once turned down a drunken dame, she wanted sex and I said no. She then kicked me in the testicles. Not Nice.

You hear me you wench!?!?! NOT NICE! Shame on you!

Elbows and shoulders can be cracked as well.

It's very annoying for the people around me. Which makes me do it quite often.

That sounds really negative. I mean, I'd have to read the script for myself before judging if it is good or not. I hate naysayers.

Now that is just sexy. I'm the same way but toss in toes and knees as well. Years of playing Hockey and bass guitar, yeah!

Anyway:

This is Nicole. She loves; steam from a hot shower on a cold day, watching the city lights turn on at night, eating greasy pizza with good local brew beer after a lazy day, baking cookies just 'cause, watching it snow, feeling the wind in her face, taking pictures of people when they don't know it and the way a newly made up bed looks and feels.
She hates; when the leather seat of her motorcycle gets too hot to sit on, the sunlight (which hates her too, YAY for solar urticaria), having to listen to angsty poetry, disagreeable beer like pabst, fake chocolate, being woken up and bad kisses/kissers.

This is Jessie. She likes rain in her hair, catching up on GT, the wind that comes in car windows and howls around the corners of house, trees, and cats. She doesn't like washing her face with cold water, getting the car back from someone with the empty light on, shaving her legs in a cold shower, loud people, being too quiet, and being mean.

Godzilla vs The Wonder Weasel

nevermind...probably better not to go there

andariel Posted: Tue Feb 15 16:44:01 2005 Post | Quote in Reply
Sorry, didn't mean to start something that'd get out of control but it seems ok for right now... If Dubya and the one-eyed-wonder weasel is as bad as it gets we'll all be ok. we might even end up with the scrip for a really bad comic book, Godzilla movie or something.

I've got this image of a giant abused looking inflatable sheep ploughing over Tokyo before wonder weasel, wearing a white knock off of the superman suit, and Godzilla combine powers to conquer over it. I can see the fight ending in a noxious gas released when Dubya is popped from being thrust into Godzilla's back side by The Wonder Weasel who's trying to prick Dubya from behind...

Well, the 2004-2005 season has officially been cancelled.
They couldn't agree on "bargaining matters" and so there hasn't been any hockey and there will be no hockey for this year.
