i know this has probably been done before, but what song do u want played at your funeral?

for me it would have to be The Rememberance Ballad by Atreyu

Actually, I would to have 3 songs played.

Juggernout - Communism
Metallica - Memory Remains
(LOTR Theme) The Two Towers - Requiem for a Dream

and in that order.

I don't like thinking about dying...

But also, I can't make decisions, so i'm not sure what I'd want. I like Crim's idea of Radiohead. But I'm really not sure...

I would want someone with a sweet voice to sing a song that reminded them of me.
No hymns, no harps, nothing typical or I'd be pissed.

Then I chose:
Non je ne regrette rien by Edith Piaf
What a wonderful world by Louis Armstrong

Right now I'm listening to "Allways look on the bright side of life" which could also be added to the list

  how about:

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are now floating in space, by Spiritualized

I think that would make an excellent funeral song.

  or Van Morrison - Everyone
(such as is played at the funeral/end credits scene of Royal Tennenbaums)
?

i choose not to think of death...

i don't have any idea what song should be played. something from the 80's...

i'll let my survivors choose which song to play/sing @ my funeral. hopefully they'll pick something good that isn't sad.

I wanna know what love is by Foreigner

or

Barroom hero by the dropkick murphies

or maybe

Prince's of the universe by queen.

I wish to be buried in a military uniform of my design with female pall bearers dressed as communist soldiers. I'd also like my friend Tim to play his guitar whilst climbing all over the mourners and wailing loudly

*clears throat*
Will you cry when the day comes that I die?
Or will you lay a rose under my alergic nose?
Then you'll see that our love was meant to be,
For I'll waken with a sneeze and say, 'Bum your hanky please?'

*achoo* ;)
