My catch phrase is to say that I am part of an experiment which speeds atoms up to almost the speed of light just so that we can smash them into other atoms really hard and see what happens.

Mostly its a lot of me trying to figure out which wire is supposed to go where, sitting infront of a computer screen filled with numbers and trying to make sense out of what is going on and banging my head against the desk repeatedly.

In college studying informatics, mostly learning how to program and act like a manager, but I do research about the ethical stuff surrounding it.

For money I take almost any job I can get, but the job I do the most is working at a farmerů

In spare time I read, write, play games, see gf and other friends.

I'm in my last year of college, majoring in Finance and International Business. I'm starting my full-time 6-month internship in investment banking firm next month.

For now, i'm just studyin' and "tutoring" some rich, but hopelessly dumb guy from my school, which pretty much means doing all his homework for some pretty good money.

I am currently working in an insurance company by night, applying for an MA in scriptwriting, writing the worlds 3rd best sitcom (1 being Seinfeld, 2 being Curb Your Enthusiasm) and helping someone make a documentary about the a Male Voice Choir. Luckily this job so far has amounted to little more than writing a 10 page script that won't get made because some inconsiderate git in the choir died and my script was a black comedy about two dead choir members.

I manage to do all that, fit in a girlfriend and watch DVD's and the following TV series weekly:

24
Desperate Housewives,
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Seinfeld,
Arrested Development
Viva La Bam
Rescue Me
Joey
Location Location Location
Grand Designs
Misc History Channel WW2 themed shows
Smallville
ER
Neighbours

i'm a high school kid, just trying to keep my grades up & lookin good for all those colleges out there...

i'm currently procrastinating my homework, and will more than likely forget to do half of it by bedtime. this will result in major stress and the pulling out of my hair, and my bf telling me i need to calm down.

I'm juggling school, time w/my bf, family time, forced labor, and time w/friends. things aren't working out.

i hope to:
get my homework done soon
get a *real* job--one that actually pays me
obtain a 4.0 gpa
get accepted into college as business/marketing major
move out of this godforsaken house
marry my boyfriend (i don't care if you think i'm shallow, or stupid to say this at such a young age. you are not in my position, so you do not know.)
die happy, but not for a long time.

  I go to college.

Making money is fun I do a lot for it, I whore myself out, but not in the way you're thinking.

Saturdays and Sundays I work at DMR as a waitress/host/busser/precook/expo/misc. for 12 and 14 hour work days. (pumping out 28 hours of work in two days kills as a waitress) there I make $7 an hour plus about $3-8 in tips (for the whole day. we have to share.)
Monday-Friday I (like I said) will do just about anything to make a buck. I fix cars (lot's of changing oil, batteries, tires etc. simple shit that the rich/hippy kids don't know how to do) break into cars when keys have been locked in (friends will do that to drunk friends trying to drive here) I'll do laundry (only if I'm doing mine too) I cook (only if I want to eat or the money is really good) I sew and hem and shit. I play pool and poker and make money on bets about my alcohol tolerance. I write essays, and do math homework and I play matchmaker. I also sell pot acid and opium when times get hard.

I'm currently a project manager for an entertainment / lighting / systems intetragation company.

Though for the last year and change I have been going through the process of applying for the police academy at one of our city agencies. I have completed 2/3's of the testing, and just finished the background investigation. My file has moved on and I will wait to see what they say...

I went to college for while. Studied Psychology, emphasis in Child Developmental Psych. Wanted to become a teacher. Still do. But with the kids and the wife to support i can't afford to live on what teachers make starting out. So I figure I will do the cop thing for a while, and then try teaching later when I'm in a better place financially.

Of course if the police thing falls thorugh, my job is great I'm very torn right now on leaving. Its not my passion but it pays the bills and I get along with everyone pretty well.

For what its worth...

oh paulo, home and away is so much better. fricken melbourne suburbs are crap.

i go to university, doing a bachelor of fine arts. am majoring in 3D/fibres-textiles, though i'm only doing 1 course atm (Paper As Form). I work in a delicatessan about 25-30 hours a week. i work as a signwriter making stickers every now and then. because my work hours are at awkward times, i don't really do much but sleep, read books and take drugs. sometimes i see my friends, but i've gotta get pretty lucky for that. some of my time is spent bedding my best friend's best friend.
