bored at work
breeze Posted: Mon Mar 28 13:07:46 2005 Post | Quote in Reply
Okay, so today I started my new full time job and officially joined the club of working GTers! But Iím getting bored sitting here, because itís my first day and I donít really have much stuff to do other than filling out those stupid employment forms =( So, I need some advice from you veterans on how to sneak around the corporate monitoring! This system they have here doesnít let me use MSN messengers (the site is blocked =( and I think Iím starting getting paranoid about people coming from behind into my cubicle and finding out hat Iím on GT =P Any advice on what to do at work when youíre bored and how not to get caught?

welcome to the club. It's a constant worry for me. I face away from the walkway so i've literally had my boss standing behind me while i'm posting away on gt and IMing, unaware that he's standing there behind me the whole time...and of course he doesn't go "ahem" or tell me he's there.
What we need is to set up some kind of early detection warning system (like with string and bells) so we'd know in advance when someones coming : )

of course I could just quit posting on gt during work hours....hmmm....
....naw

Hang a cow bell around your bosses neck.

If the only problem with MSN is the site is blocked, use Gaim.

http://gaim.sourceforge.net/

It's a multi-protocol instant messaging client, meaning you can go online with MSN, AIM, ICQ, and other services with it.

It's another multi-protocol client, only a lot smaller in size both on the screen and in bytes. You could probably get away with it easier.

: )

1.You can go into "edit profile" and add a pic there of your choosing by copy and pasting. (Sites available too that allow you to do this. Ask the more techno knowledgible ones here).

2. Email one(s) to me and have Ludwig create a masterpiece for you. (don't ask who he is)

Are you sure we want to see this?

Or do you happen to be Libra's head on Breeze's body with P's ass and Nikki's sexual apetite, yet with Mouse's innoncence as a cover-up?

Or are you a combo of hif's gut, addi's sheeplusting and mesh's ridiculously small genitals with a hint of Paulo/crim-offspring?

Some of us have strong feelings for penguins here.
I've been attending Penguins Anonymous meetings ever since mesh left and took away my tripping penguins avatar.
Last night I saw a guy wearing a black tuxedo and a got this strange urge to trip him : (

clearly you are losing your marbles, my dear girl, what with this blacking out and posting without realizing it, and talking to yourself.

as for being mushy... I can see that the former avatars of men who have since gone on vision quests, should not be included in these games, if only because the mention of said wanderers makes the perpetrators sad.
