Cherry_Moon Posted: Wed Apr 20 10:15:01 2005 Post | Quote in Reply
I found got my hands on the album - downloading it from limewire. i love it. i really not a rap fan except i like jay-z. i really don't like the beatles but they sound good as the beat for the songs. i thought DJ Danger Mouse did a wonderful job

If you like that concept, check out:
As Heard on Radio Soulwax Vol. 2
by Too Many DJs.

It's phenomenal.

  You don't like the Beatles?!
blasphemy!
And putting their music to a rap beat?!
double blasphemy!
ugh!

Does the Pope know about this?

*and why did he chose the name Benedict? Out of all the names available he could have done much better. It's not very sexy, is it.
If I was Pope I would choose a cool name like Pope Leslie VIII, or something.

I'im really happy someone else here has heard of danger mouse; the grey album isn't my favourite work of his, but it's solid.

<3 the beatles.

They're pretty big in England. Plus, mixing Dolly Parton with Destiny's Child is, well, pure genius. : )

  Lol.

Try finding the remix they did of Can't Get You Out Of My Head by kylie minogue.

If you have trouble finding it just ask me on msn.

I can't download stuff due to a crappy firewall (or something) that my University kindly supplies, so I'll have to get it from you over MSN at some point. Thanks. :)

Ya think? I'm not so convinced. :)

PS: I might bum stuff off of you, too, if you wouldn't mind, for I am a music whore. (The truth is out!)

He also works with the guy from Blur on the Gorillaz projects, which are just as phenomenal. The new single "Feel Good Inc." is awesome.

  This all reminds me...

Does anyone follow Go Home Productions?
Mark Vidler is the remixer/producer...
A whole bunch of ridiculously good mash-ups.

The day I heard "Karma In The Life"
[a Radiohead-Beatles mash-up...!!!!]
I decided I could finally die a happy girl.

It is SO good. One of the best I have heard. I will send it to anyone over MSN if they can't find it.
