okay gters what's your favorite drink you like to have to get the night started. or to drown your troubles in.

I like a straight shot of vodka to stop me from worrying about things. I'm up for suggestions. for other drinks.

do you prefer greygoose over other brands? I know some people who are insanely picky about the brand.

It used to be straight Stolichnaya or Danzka or a 12 pack of La Cerveza Mas Fina. Now though, its just a nice cold glass of water. Yummy.

lol. water is nice. but i need to get smashed so i can stop thinking about things i have no control over. so in the morning i'll bitch about the headache. not about life. which has no rewind, pause, or mute button.

definitely. i specify for greygoose every time i order. Absolut and Polar Ice and Smirnof, while decent, are just not the same caliber.

Mmmm. I agree. Especially if you're still recovering from the day before.

  I'm not a drinker.

When I go out and I do drink something, it's a maximum of 2-3 glasses of Safari Orange per night.

The rest of my night is fueled by water, which keeps me going untill the place closes down, with most of my friends barely able to remain on their feet because of their drinking.

Margarita on the rocks (has to made with freshly squeezed limes...NO mix!)

I also like Bloody Marys on warm Sunday afternoons, with a celery stalk in the glass

*Chris and meshie...you're smart about drinking : )

It's iced tea. I feel so reserved amongst you people =P

Hot tea, tension tamer by celestial seasonings. Ice Tea for when its hot.

I don't drink to escape. Never been an option for me because when I drink too much I'm out of control and that it worse than whatever I'm trying to deal with.

When I do drink I generally drink Whiskey. Crown and Coke or 7 and 7.

Not big into beer though I did have a Japanese Beer at a sushi place the other night called Kichirin which was good. And I'm developing a taste for Sake, though I've only had it a couple times to this point.

For what it's worth...

  Orange Julius
various mixed sodas which depends on what's available

Die, kidneys, die!

A nice lager will do it for me. That or a Jack and Coke (or Sprite, whatever- just call me Holden Caufield).

A cold iced tea or cooling fresh pot of white tea will calm my nerves.

On a stressful day, full of sucking, nothing nothing nothing will ever beat a thick chocolate milkshake. Nothing.

  Depends on the night.

On a social evening I usually go with beer. It doesn't take much thought, it's cheep and I usually feel like I'm going to float away before I get too far gone.

With a more pretentious croud or when I'm planning on nursing something anyway I usually order Gin and Ginger. I like how it manages to be both sweet and dry.

Used them all.
ruined two marriages, one by me, the other by her.
Used in moderation, they're no big deal.
But not many can do that.
I certainly couldn't.
Been totally drug free for a little over two years now and don't miss them at all. I drink a bloody mary or margarita on the rare occasion.

Vodka and orange juice is my drink of choice..

I tried magic mushrooms the other day, the ground looked like it was pulsing and a parked car looked like it was rolling back and forth.. And a lady came past and pulled a face at me.. But that's about all that happened. The face may have actaully happened.
