I've a lot of bad memories. Like I said in the question though, they make me who I am today. So I dont want to erase any of them.

I have a few bad memories I could do without, but they don't consume my thoughts... and somehow I think that they serve an important purpose in my life. Like a "checks and balances" function for my actions today.
If that makes any sense

i have lots of bad memories and they almost always consume my thoughts. xcept when i think of him. *sigh*

so...you're a branch of government? i never knew that addi. wow. is it a tough job?

anyway, i think it makes sense. if i were to erase my bad memories, i'd be worse off, since they do make me who i am, which is what mesh said.

On the other hand, in some twisted way, as a guy it must be reassuring to hear a customer exclaim: "hey, that's too big to be a clitoris!"

If I could remove a memory (just one night.. heh, that sounds kinky) but retain the lesson, I would. Our past makes us who we are, and it's our memories that define 'our past' (therefore ourselves) changing the memories changes us... but something intrigues me still... what if we could remove the memory, and keep the lesson learned? Is it possible?
(sorry if I repeated others)

  And would it change us?
(forgot to add that)
