The 150 post thing is quite cynical:

'The thread has reached it's limit of 150 postings.
If you still have something to say, it is either a very interesting topic, or (more likely) you're trying to flood the GT server.
In any case, please start a new thread.'

heh, doesn't think we have anything that's interesting to talk about? hmm, though it was just a random open thread, ah well.

Hahaha I am amused.

But now I have to go and load that whole thread to see if that first apostrophe really exists.

This effort will last exactly 27.2 seconds before I realize the futility of the endeavour.

I'll then go on with watching syndicated episodes of the Simpsons on the spanish network and eating my salmon sandwhich.

junior year. only two more semesters after this one (if this one doesn't kill me). Oh, and then maybe grad school? Ugh.

The thing that sucks is that I KNOW i could get A's on all of these midterms if it wasn't for the fact that I have to study for them all at the same time.

Actually, the term "consvervative" to me, when talking about social issues, carries a religious connotation to it. At least to my ears it does. I think I prefer simply "right". That sounds less religious.

we need to nip this in the bud, pronto.
The Doc says you need to sit your butt down in front of the tv and watch the following:

Bush's state of the union speech (any year will do)
The O'Rielly Factor
700 Club with Pat Robertson
Any op/ed commentary on Fox News

That will stop this horrible disease from spreading any further.

I am listening to music that is affecting my head.

Today I spent too much time at work. Five hours. I screwed up an injection on the cat in rabies quarantine. I did not drive safely on the way home. I kept looking over at the sky.

I am thinking of moving to New Hampshire. But if I could go anywhere, I would go to New York.

I can't tell time. Last week this was the last week of my life, and now I see my life being pulled out yard by yard like thread balled up and hidden in a fist. It just goes on and on and falls in loops and curves on the floor.

I wish that I lived in a movie, where miracle speeches actually reach the listener.

Scotty does know that Fiona and me
Do it in my van every Sunday.
She tells him she's in church but she doesn't go
Still she's on her knees and Scotty doesn't know!

Oh Scotty doesn't know-o!
So don't Tell Scotty!
Scotty doesn't know!
Scotty doesn't know!
So don't Tell Scotty!

Fiona says she's out shopping,
But she's under me and I'm not stopping...

'Cause Scotty doesn't know!
Scotty doesn't know! (--X3--)
So don't tell Scotty!
Scotty doesn't know!
SCOTTY DOESN'T KNOW
So don't tell Scotty!

I can't believe he's so trusting,
While I'm right behind you thrusting. (Wooh...)
Fiona's got him on the phone,
And she's trying not to moan.
It's a three-way call and he knows nothing, nothing!

Scotty doesn't know!(--X3--)
So don't tell Scotty!
'Cause Scotty doesn't know!
Scotty doesn't know!
So don't tell Scotty!

We'll put on a show!
Everyone will go!
Scotty doesn't know!(--X3--)

The...parking lot? Why not?
It's so cool when you're on top!
His front lawn. In the snow.
LAUGHING SO HARD
CUZ SCOTTY DOESN'T KNOW
Scotty doesn't know!

I DID HER ON HIS BIRTHDAY....

Scotty doesn't know!(--X4--)

So don't tell Scotty!
Scotty doesn't know!
Scotty will know!
Scotty has to know!
Scotty's gotta know!
Gonna tell Scotty!
Gonna tell him myself!
Scotty doesn't know!
Scotty doesn't know!
Scotty has to,
Scotty has to,
Scotty has to go!

(::Chant::) Scotty doesn't know! (--x6--)
Scotty doesn't,
Scotty doesn't,
Scotty doesn't...
(::Chant::) Scotty doesn't know! (--X8--)
Scotty's got to go

These lyrics are wildly inappropriate and quite frankly it concerns me that school aged children would listen to this.

I saw an ice hockey game last weekend.

The Black Hawks vs Canucks(?) ice hockey game. Chicago vs Canada, anyway.

I kinda wanted Canada to win.

It was good to watch their feet and stuff. They were pretty amazing. And so were the referees. Actually I think a referee or two may have been showing off a little. But that's okay. I would have been.

The kids behind me were really annoying. They kept screaming at really stupid moments and distracting the players. Idiots. I could never be a parent. If my 10 year old ever did that I'd kick it. I wish their parents had kicked them more as children. I would have.

We had to leave early because the dad wanted to miss traffic. It was a draw when we left, which made me feel better. At first I felt terrible for Canada, because they were losing, and noone was supporting them, and someone tripped up their goalie. But then everyone started tripping up everyone else and I felt better.

Then they all started fighting and I felt fantastic.

Or at the other end of the scale...

If this friend was to take it in their own time, would it be a waste of time to take just one, ie. would a larger dosage be required?

I watched it last week, it was titled "brainman".
Incredible is all I can say about him, and his skill is nothing compared to that of Kim Peek, though he is still young.

  THE IDES OF MARCH

I listened to an interesting story on NPR this morning driving into work. They had on a chemistry prof from MIT talking about when humans exhale they release a humugous amount of molecules into the atmosphere (something along the line of 23 trillion). He stated that some of these tiny buggers are absorbed into plants, some the oceans, and some remain in the air.

So what does this have to do with today, the 15th of March?
He tied this into Julius Ceasar taking his last breath today. When he exhaled for the last time he released trillions of these molecules into the air. The implication from this is that as you people are reading this and stop to take a deep breath (from how boring it is)you will literally inhale at least one of the same molecules that Ceasar exhaled so long ago.

Think about the implications.

I just stopped and took a deep breath. As I inhaled I literally sucked in some molecules that choke or chan or mouse or any of you have had in your body. We share a "connectedness" through wires or airwaves via the internet here. But we also share the same air molecules, and I find that fascinating.

So as I was playing tennis last night and stopped to take a deep breath after a point I may have taken in a molecule that Libra had literally inside her body last week (which could explain why for no apparent reason I suddenly got horny during the match).

All of us are connected in more ways than we realize.

of course it's best to think about having that in common with interesting and good people, and not focus on sharing the same air molecules with scumbags like Slavadon Milosevic and such

It's funny, we don't really celebrate it as much.

It began because my mum brought a cake home once, because it was on sale, and it just happened to be Penis Day and we needed an occasion. And then it grew from there until my friends and I would bring a cake and fizzy drink and stuff to school, with "Happy Penis Day" written on it in icing... We'd make a whole day of it.

What a strange and wonderful land you come from, choke.

I've got some food suggestions for the various human anatomy holidays you celebrate...

Penis Day....foot long hot dogs
Vagina Day.....tacos
Breast Day...Jello (in a cup mold) with a cherry on top
Balls Day....Rocky Mountain oysters
Clitorus Day...mini cocktail weiners
Anus Day...refried beans
Foreskin Day...chicken (but you slice the skin off first)
Sperm Day...vanilla yogurt
G Spot Day...Zucchini

I think that about covers it : )

So the other day I watched a film called, "I Walk the Line" (1970).

Starring... Gregory Peck.

And a young lady around... eighteen.

Today, I am watching "To Kill a Mockingbird"

Tomorrow, I will watch it again - repeating this ritual each day until I forget all the events of the film "I Walk the Line" or that such a film even exists.

It just proves what a talented actor he was that I could be so traumatized.

Dang I had it all set up to look like a heart rate monitor thing that was flatlining, but then it had a spike, but then it flatlined again.

The spike was where she was almost topless. The flatlining was the entire rest of the movie.

It was awesome.

You both got your style, but brother
You're never fully dressed without a smile.

You're clothes may be "Beau Brumelly"
They stand out a mile, but brother

Who cares what they're wearing
On Main Street or Saville Row
It's what you wear from ear to ear
And not from head to toe that matters.

So, Senator, so, janitor
So long for awhile, remember
You're never fully dressed
Though you may wear the best
You're never fully dressed without a smile.

(Yes, I'm just trying to make you angrier. What other use could any of these happy sappy cheery gross depression-era songs have. I'm very very sorry.)

How does one go about importing mountain dew ?

JesusOnline Posted: Wed Mar 22 01:17:36 2006
  Through this http://www.letseatdirect.com/acatalog/American_Drinks.html website.

With the current $ to exchange rate, this company must be making a tidy profit over a can.

it's your money and all, but if i were you i'd just buy 7up or lemonade, and if i really didn't want the money, then i'm sure charity would be a better option than a big corporation.
