Why is this of such high importance, and also, what would I get if I get you the head of this tom yorke guy, P?

Must be pretty good considering what you get for supplying a song of his.

I'll do it.

I already love you. You can have some kisses for free.
Thom's head would be useless to me. Unless it could sing.
You can bring me something else. And be sure not to shave or comb your hair before you come.

Only on the first listen, but I'm not finding anything unique in it so far. It's worth having anyway.
I'm sure I'll grow to love it

Crim you are a serious dood.

God bless the internet and illeagal downloading. I'm with john lennon 'the only people that think someone owns music are those that try to sell it'.

On first listening it seems to me like a grower. I'm always a bit dubious of solo albums, the other band members aren't there to stop you having an ego trip. or just generally making crap.

Just as a sidenote to all you unfortunate spellers out there:

dood means both "dead" and "death" in dutch.

And though he smells a little awkward, I don't think crim embodies either of the 2 forementioned terms.

that image is actually a poster. my buddy had it, like 6 feet wide and 4 feet high, right above his bed. a somewhat odd, yet sexual, tribute to pink floyd.

slightly more on topic, i saw a pic the other day of thom yorke singing in concert, but someone photoshopped the mic away and put in a red ribbon, it looked like he was about to win the 100m paralympics. good times.

Hit songs of the evening (45-55 aged crowd):

Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels - Devil with a Blue Dress/Good Golly Miss Molly
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Down on the Corner

I actually did play them - Joy to the World, of course. Just didn't go over as well as the others (was a bit early in the evening at the time).

Succession around that song:

Jackson 5 - ABC
Three Dog Night - Joy to the World
Steppenwolf - Magic Carpet Ride (skip first 16 seconds)

The distorted piano in ABC matches pretty much exactly with the style of that in Three Dog Night, and Magic Carpet Ride's fuzz blends in nice with Joy to the World pretty well.

Just me being lame, and such and such.
