has anyone personally owned a welsh corgi?

I'm saving up to purchase one this year and I've done all the research. But I would like to hear some personal experiances with these little fuzzy critters.

I've never had one or known anyone that has. perhaps mat or Paulo know something about them.
All I've heard is that they don't eat normal dog food, but prefer beer, whiskey and cigarettes...and when they're tipsy they bark like a sailor.

bwahaha :) yes they are evil cute-ness. We are going to have one to start off with. And then in a couple years when we have money for land. Which by the time we are in our mid twenties we will be able to get about 150-200 acres of land. We are going to have three corgis and three huskies.

We want one corgi for now because we are going to be going to trucking school. And trucking. So we want a doggie that we can take along with us and keep us company.

I was considering a corgi rescue but I can't find any that are what we want. So we may just go to a breeder.

They are awesome doggies and I can't wait to own one :)...

i just have to make sure my 40 malt is locked away tight so I won't have to deal with a drunk corgi.

I have owned a few in the past. Nice enough. Always a happy face. Fun to play with in the tall grass.

nah. the ferret doesn't have enough edible meat for that sort of thing... :P

Panda Bear has gotten huge!

He is two feet long (including his tail) and is about 4/5 lbs... And he is 8 months old. I know people with "dogs" lighter then that.

he will. we will be getting a puppy so raising the corgi with the ferret will be good exposure.
