Dude, you've missed a couple of years of events here. I'll try and give you a few mundane highlights:

The singapore faction has pretty much stopped posting here. No one knows for sure why, but my best guess is that Godzilla swallowed them, so their internet access is really limited.

Hif has had a rough year, but thankfully right wingers are a resiliant bunch so he's still with us and well on the woad to wecovery. I'm fully expecting 2008 to bring lots of political firework threads back to the forum.

mat_j pops in now and then, sharing his quips and pearls of wisdom, and then just as suddenly he will disappear back into the mysterious and shadowy underground world inhabited by whiskey scented enigmatic welsh writers.

mesh is still trying to project an image here of being a crazed maniacal unpredictable killer, but we all see past his ruse and know he's really a very docile well adjusted person, working 9 to 5 as an accountant, and volunteering as a scoutmaster for boy scout troop 666 in Austin.

sweet p and I got engaged. She'll deny it of course in a subsequent post but it's all part of our plan to secretly elope to Vegas in May and have Elvis perform the ceremony. Everyone will get invitations to the post wedding reception at Disney World, except nikki (she's worried I'll hit on her).

marsi sadly is living in a half-way house in Slovenia after being arrested several times for walking up to total strangers, sniffing their armpits, and then purring loudly. Meds are helping with her fragrance addiction.

Libra is living the complicated life of an ex-patriot in Canada. She still stops by the forum now and then to say "Neat,eh?". She is supplying us older american males with cheap Viagra, which is really sweet of her.

Kuro is now a cop. If you go to youtube and search for the episode of "Cops in Denver" you'll see a clip of him running down and tacklehugging a middle-aged naked meth addict in the snow...for what it's worth.

Crim was all set to become a philosophical web designer, but at the last minute got an offer to become the towel boy for the Phoenix Suns, his dream job. He's now residing in a SunCity West studio apartment with his large volume top loading Kenmore washer and "Spinoza", his pet lizard.

Kira was in the 2007 Miss North Carolina beauty pageant and made it to the final five. Unfortunately, she slipped a few notches in the judges eyes when she responded to the question "If you could have one wish come true what would it be?" by responding, "I'd work for world peace....and then hunt down that pompous asshat addi and kick him in the crotch!". She did win "Miss Congeniality" though, and a years supply of Maybelline waterproof eyeliner.

Jenn was working on splitting atoms and verbs and accidently created the world's most deadly weapon in the process. She has a five year plan of world domination, sharing power with her partner Myk. We're not too concerned though because she's Canadian and would therefore be a benevolent dictator.

Rumors abound here about the goings on of Beetlebum. Her frequent posts while studying at Oxford have slowed to a trickle since she moved back to St. Louis. Some believe she cut her long gorgeous hair short and is masquerading as a male named "Mag", captaining a Misssissippi river boat. Others think she's working at the Chesterfield Mall as a clerk in The Gap store. Personally I'm thinking she slipped off to Phoenix and is employed as the Assistant Towel Person with the Suns. It's all a mystery really.

DanSRose has moved to Cairo and is a covert spy there for the Israeli army. It's Dick Cheney's fault that his cover is now blown.

Ahriman is still cooking, kicking and accidently cutting off appendages. Because he's strong willed they always grow back.

Christophe realized back in April that he was fighting a losing battle so he converted to Islam. However last month he was stopped at a road checkpoint outside of Antwerp and his fingers smelled "suspiciously like sex", so he's most likely still messing around.

Nov is still a faithful soldier in Addi's army. She changed jobs this past year and is now working at a Philadephia petting zoo, where she's the only pet.

Mark (aka Wolffie)is really J.K. Rowling, and is now writing the next chapter in the saga of Harry Potter. Publisher leaks have upset many die hard fans however after it was let out that he plans on changing the main characters name to Harry Pooper in the next installment and have Harry and Lord Voldemort "meet" in an airport restroom.

Choke is still Choke. Steady 'ol reliable tiff. She got accepted to a world renown University this past year and is now majoring in chocolate, with plans of using that knowledge towards getting more body piercings after graduation.

just~imagine had an epiphany this summer while climbing the Matterhorn, where she met a Hindu hermit and was informed that "making out is the way to reach nirvana". She has subsequently reached complete nirvana on several occasions.

Well that's pretty much it, simon. The usual run of the mill stuff for us GTers.

  That's cool ant

Does it look like a beach house of sorts? ;)

I was talking with a friend a while ago how we were wondering about people we knew years ago and how sometimes you wonder what they're up to but you have no way of finding out anymore since you have no idea what became of them or where they're hiding.

I like that about GT, even after such a long time people still drop by and give you an update which is interesting because you kind of watch them evolve through life if that makes any sense.

Dance my monkies! Dance!

And what's up with Christophe and all his "On a totally unrelated note" posts? Have never gotten the hang of those in all these years...

Sorry, erika. I don't leave people out on purpose. I'm just getting forgetful these days..or lazy...or both. It's why I'm always hesitant to even try these kind of posts anymore.

>And what's up with Christophe and all his "On a totally unrelated note" posts?

Christophe is an excitable boy and has a hard time focusing
: )

If you must sell your soul, meshie, then at least I hope you got the fair market value for it.
