love you

Mat

Always smile when I read that name. Something funny about saying it.
My son listened a lot to them back when. Now he's discovered "new" music that he loves like John Denver and Waylon Jennings. Go figure.

I'm listening pretty much to the same stuff I listed on the last song thread.

Ah everyone's into Country nowadays eh?

I love Wu-Tang, one of my all time favourite acts, especially 36 Chambers, it holds a special place in my heart.

I've been getting back to my love of hippity hop recently upon discovering an old mix tape given to me by a good friend now long since gone to Bristol.

It took me back to a heady world of marajuana, The Afro Carribbean society BBQs, listening to Adam F on repeat, protesting, Zach De La Rocha love, toasting, drinking cheap Vodka and using the bottles as candle holders, going to war against the Greek pill dealers with the Italians in the flat downstairs knowing they wouldn't actually do anything but enjoying the strategic planning at 3 in the morning with brown pasta, green gange and pink floyd.

Happy days.

oh, and p.s. if anyone is looking for some good aussie hip-hop, i'd reccommend the hilltop hoods. i can't stand gansta rap, but my god, aussie blokes rapping about drinking beer is great.
