Anyone watch "Pushing Daisies" on TV ?

I'm sorry, but I haven't watched it. I take it that it gets a thumbs up from you?

Come to think of it there isn't a single major network tv show that I do watch regularly now. How times have changed. When I do watch these days I'm all over the place with my remote. Sometimes football, or tennis, or PBS, or C-SPAN, or reruns of The Family Guy, or the Travel channel, or Discovery. I think the last show I watched with regularity was American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance...which I'm going to regret admitting here. : )

I don't watch a lot of major network shows either. Two and a Half Men and Big Bang Theory on Mondays and Pushing Daisies are about it until American Idol comes back on.
I did watch Jericho until it was cancelled. The bastards !
I spend most of my tv time on the cable down in the 3 digit area.

That's the porn channels, right?
; )

As long as I'm confessing here. I also sometimes catch a show on FitTV called "Shimmy". It's belly dancing lessons. No, I'm not trying to learn it myself, I just enjoy watching it. A guy thing I guess, or maybe just an Addi thing. : )

Some of my friends have told me I'm house without a limp and an addiction?

I haven't really ever seen the show though, aside from 5 minutes here and there as I'm changing channels.

I have no doubt he's a swell guy.

He is, isn't he?

That and Bones are basically the only shows I really watch. I  the Deschanel sisters.

I make a point to watch The Office, House, and Entourage whenever I can, though it's not worth putting something else off for.

This summer, though, I watched all 5 seasons of The Wire. Absolutely captivating. Best show ever, ever, ever - from the most objective standpoint I can muster. And, I hate cop shows in general.

I did watch that too. Damn shame that they canceled it. Was one of the best series I saw in years.

Nowadays I tend to watch NCIS and sometimes House.

You should all watch battlestar galactica

It's an incredibly tense storyline with a lot of "real world" parallels and just all around awesome.

It's sort of like Rome (another classic) in a sci-fi setting.

I watch Grey's Anatomy and Heroes. I don't really think of either of them as very good shows, but I got stuck.
And my boyfriend and I watch The Office and Entourage on DVD every time they come out.

The only show I religiously watch is Outrageous Fortune. It's a NZ thing, I don't know if they air it elsewhere. But if they do, watch it.

I've always been curious about that show. Don't know why I haven't watched any episodes yet.

yeah, they show it here in Oz, but it always managed to be on when i was out or i forgot about it!

i realised the other night that i only watch one show a week, Spicks and Specks (i think its based on the concept of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, form the UK). But i do like shows on DVD. i can't ever seem to commit to being home on the same night at the same time every week. Right now, I'm wtaching the X Files. I love love love Mulder. Not Duchovny, the character Mulder.

Well they did a remake of it in 2003 (in fact season 4 as far as I know hasn't been fully shown yet)

Anyway, it's a continuous storyline, not a series of random episodes.

At first I thought it was going to be something standard, but once you're a few episodes into it and the story gets you you keep on watching.

Lots of fleshed out politics and such, very nice.

I've only seen up to and including season 3 though so don't spoil it for me if you've seen more. The season 3 finale kicks ass by the way.

Also, Kara is hot

and so is Number Six.

Girl, that makes two of us!!! I adore that show... And I love Bones for the same reason... The fact that she has no social concerns totally endears me to her.

And I guess I also have a small crush for the actresses playing Temperance (Bones), 13 and Cameron. (from House)

Apart from you limp penis and your addiction to bitchin' ZING!

Nah i'm only joking, hey kid, you're alright.

the New Battle Star Galactica is amazing.

The Wire could well be the best thing ever put onto a television set, absolute genius.

Also on re-runs

Flight of the Conchords
Twin Peaks

omg, i finally watched twin peaks a few months back. After years and years of people saying "you should watch twin peaks. its really weird. you'd like it." (I never knew exactly how to take that.)

i pretty much wanted to slit my wrists after that fucken ending though. what a fucken douche. argh. I am still angry. it will be a long time until i ready to re-view that show.
