broke my ass
antartica Posted: Sat Oct 18 04:51:21 2008 Post | Quote in Reply
hey all... i managed to get into my first road spill yesterday and landed my ass into the kerb at about 30km/h after sliding about 5m or so

but thank goodness for my padded riding jacket which saved me from road rash :)

other than a frac on my tail bone and some spinal ache from the impact, i'm just waiting for the cops to contact me to get my bike out of the pound and back into the work shop to get it on the road again

thankful it wasn't any worse for you. As much as I love the thought of a bike I know I'd end up face down on the road at some point. Hope you had a helmet on too.

Watch your ass, my dad got a plate in his skull and pins in his arm and leg for one of those.

Glad you're ok though :)

had all my riding gear on - head to toe
with the exception of gloves coz it was pouring down and didn't wanna get my leathers soaked... anyhow. ass still broken and hurts when i sit, lay down or stand... haha

it's a good lesson learnt and it's not gonna keep me off the bike... once it gets out of the police pound and repaired of coz :)

thanks all for the care :)
*hugz*
