Anybody out there ever own a classic car?
I once owned a 64 chevy.
It was a pain in the ass when I had it, but I'd sure like to have that sumbitch back now.

Such is life. Some things are a pain in the ass when we have them, and then we miss them when they're gone. Christophe, for example.

Ahhh Christophe..the Belgian son I never had. He has fallen off the face of the earth. I'm guessing he graduated and became the CEO of some major corporation and has no time for us peons now.

For several days when I tried to come here I got a warning on my screen that told me this site had a nasty virus...so I stayed away. Seems JQ got that issue fixed.

I have owned a couple "classics" I guess. A 1959 Triumph and a '66 Mustang. Neither lasted long though and other than the fun exterior design they were a pain in the ass to maintain.

Nope! All big-3 for me, though. Detroit(ish) born and raised, I guess?

1991 Mercury Topaz, 1999 Dodge Intrepid, and my current 2007 Saturn Ion.

I guess I just don't get the appeal of overly expensive cars. I'm not the joyriding type and getting from A to B is all that matters.

My 64 chevy only cost me 400 bucks in 1973.
Prolly worth a lot more now if it's still on the road.

Hi libra.

  Hi addi!
get a mac!
I have no problems visiting the site...

Kira Posted: Tue Jul 21 12:51:14 2009 Post | Quote in Reply
I haven't been getting any warnings, either. I think Chrome is pulling Addi's leg.

addi Posted: Thu Jul 23 16:04:11 2009 Post | Quote in Reply
Actually I've found since I've switched to Chrome that there are much problems and issues than when I used IE.
Apparently hackers prefer to use IE, Safari, Firefox over getting around the safeguards in Google Chrome, at least from the independent reports I've read up to now.
Anyhoo..I'd be happy with anyone pulling my leg these days.
