you could really go a million ways with this: think about popular movie soundtracks, timeless songs that still get played at weddings, or even good ol' google.

  psiloveyou by jack shite

loved you more when you were alive
without you I know I couldn't survive
making love to you is so much fun
but now it's only fun for one

peggy peggy, peggy sue
don't ya know that I still love you
even though you're all cold and blue
don't ya know that I'll still love you

You never talk back, and you know you'll never leave
never have to miss you, never have to bereave

always get my way, ya never put up a fight
even though you can't keep me warm at night

Peggy Peggy, Peggy Sue
Don't ya know that I still love you
Even though you're all cold and blue
Don't ya know that I'll still love you

Some might think I give them the creeps
But I'm gonna keep pretending you're asleep

Necrophilia's not my style
but layin' next to you, I can't help but smile

Peggy Peggy, Peggy Sue
Don't ya know that I still love you
Even though you're all cold and blue
Don't ya know that I'll still love you

Peggy Peggy, Peggy Sue
Don't ya know that I still love you
Even though you're all cold and blue
Don't ya know that I'll still love you

Everybody here wants you - Jeff Buckley

Twenty-nine pearls in your kiss
A singing smile
Coffee smell and lilac skin
Your flame in me

Twenty-nine pearls in your kiss
A singing smile
Coffee smell and lilac skin
Your flame in me

Im only here for this moment

I know everybody here wants you
I know everybody here thinks he needs you
Ill be waiting right here just to show you
How our love will blow it all away

Hmm, such a thing of wonder in this crowd
Im a stranger in this town
Youre free with me
And our eyes locked in downcast love
I sit here proud
Even now youre undressed in your dreams with me

Oh, Im only here for this moment

I know everybody here wants you
I know everybody here thinks he needs you
Ill be waiting right here just to show you
How our love will blow it all away

I know the tears we cried
Have dried on yesterday
The sea of fools has parted for us
Theres nothing in our way
My love

Dont you see, dont you see?
Youre just the torch to put the flame to all our guilt and shame
And Ill rise like an ember in your name

I know i, I know i
I know everybody here wants you
I know everybody here thinks he needs you
Ill be waiting right here just to show you
Oh let me show you
That love can rise, rise just like embers

Love can taste like the wine of the ages, oh babe,
And I know they all looks so good from a distance
But I tell you Im the one

I know everybody here, well, thinks he needs you
Think he needs you
And Ill be waiting right here just to show you.

  Chris Isaak--Wicked Game.
(because it brings definition to an otherwise un-definable relationship.)

The world was on fire
No one could save me but you.
Strange what desire will make foolish people do
I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you
And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you

No, I don't want to fall in love
[This love is only gonna break your heart]
No, I don't want to fall in love
[This love is only gonna break your heart]
With you
With you

What a wicked game you play
To make me feel this way
What a wicked thing to do
To let me dream of you
What a wicked thing to say
You never felt this way
What a wicked thing to do
To make me dream of you
v And I don't wanna fall in love
[This love is only gonna break your heart]
And I don't want to fall in love
[This love is only gonna break your heart]

{World was on fire
No one could save me but you
Strange what desire will make foolish people do
I never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you
I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you

No I don't wanna fall in love
[This love is only gonna break your heart
No I don't wanna fall in love
[This love is only gonna break your heart]
With you
With you

Nobody loves no one

  Bad Economy - Nuthatch

I use to buy you flowers.
When you'd get ready to go out,
I would wait for hours.
I would say that your skirt doesn't make you look fat,
even though we both know I lied about that.

Fine dining at Applebees.
You would try to pay the bill.
I'd say "wait, I got this."
Then public pool for a skinny dip
Now we're facing a foreclosure on relationship.

Don't blame me; blame economy.
Don't blame me; blame bad economy
but even if the economy was good,
you would still me a bitch and I would still be rude.

Ooo eee Bad Economy

Our personal life had some budget cuts.
I get declined in bed like my credit cards.
Could you please explain;
I'm almost on my knees,
What's with this sexual involuntary pay decrease?
You say the only thing I need from you is sex;
and that I like to see you bounce just like my bounced checks
you used to like it too
but now you bitch 'n' frown
Don't be surprised then when you see my private stocks go down.

Don't blame me; blame economy.
Don't blame me; blame bad economy
but even if the economy was good,
you would still me a bitch and I would still be rude.

Ooo eee Bad Economy

You're losing your temper like your IRA.
And my patience is drained like my 401k.
Give me a second-hand chance to take you out,
Since I won't qualify for a Bail Out.

Don't blame me; blame economy.
Don't blame me; blame bad economy
but even if the economy was good,
you would still me a bitch and I would still be rude.

Ooo eee Bad Economy
