There are river beds in Africa, in the middle of the driest season since records began with more life in them than this place.

Can't say that I feel well about that law passing at all, Hif. I'm less American than half the people who'll be hassled with the law, but you won't see anybody give me shit (unless I grow my beard much longer)

You can thank state Sen. Russell Pearce for that bit of hate filled legislation. Working up the ignorant minority to feel like Hispanics are the jews of 1930's Germany.
Yet another piece of work the republicans should be proud of.

Except that there is nothing new in this law. It already existed on the federal books. All Arizona did was pretty much tell the feds, "if you're not gonna enforce your own laws, that's OK we got this one."
"ignorant minority" ? Feeling a little elitist are we ?

Happy birthday Hif my friend, glad you're still here (on the forum, I mean, not the earth, though obviously I'm glad you're still among the living as well).

*Hugs*

Thank you Kira. I will always be here on earth since it is my planet. And by that I do mean MY planet, though all GT'rs have my permission to stay here, at least for the time being.
:-)

What ignorant minority would you be speaking of ?
It would seem that an overwhelming majority of Americans approve of this law.

It would seem that the "ignorant minority" would be the ones calling for a boycott on Arizona Iced Tea.

  Yawn!

I'm gonna find a bunch of British people and argue over Brown's bigot snub, Cleggmania and retraction of the ID card scheme.

THANK YOU Clarksville Fine Arts Center for notifying me of my last chance to see "Driving Miss Daisy" in a message dated THIRTEEN MINUTES before curtain. It's just too bad I wasn't checking my email every five seconds tonight, or I certainly would have taken my rocket and come right over. I am always up for supporting the arts.

Only if it was a stroke of the liver or something.
