We need Ant and Chan and CorDrine and also JQ.

Let's start forming search parties. We may need some rope.

  Now where do we start?

Alright, since the general elections is around the corner, I'll start with that and see where it takes us.

I am the only person in Singapore who approves of our government (the PAP) and cares to admit it. Now, with the proliferation of the Internet and socia-media, we read and hear a lot more government bashing, and frankly, I am quite sick of it. People have their right to support the opposition, but most are hypocrites who whine about the PAP and yet vote for them. Sure our government could do better, but they could do a lot worse too. Do the people seriously want the opposition - made up mostly of clowns and jokers (though, in all fairness, not all of them are) - in control of the country? As long as I know the taxes I pay are not going to support someone who is able but unwilling to work, and I don't have to worry about my safety when I go cycling at 3 a.m., I am a happy camper.

Other than that, I'm not sure what else to say.

Life in Singapore is routine and boring.

Until the two casinos sprung up last year.

Then it became just routine.

Just realized I worded this all wrong. What I meant was - I'm coming to Singapore for a total of 10 hours relatively soon, a 5hr stopover on my way to NZ and another one on my way back, and was wondering what I could do to pass the time! I heard if you hand in your passport at the airport you can wander as you please? I also heard there were a lot of laws and public lashes. Please inform me of the ones I am most likely to accidentally break so I can be aware of this!
