This place just keeps calling me back. It haunts my memory. I can't stay away. I keep coming back to see if there are any updates from old timers. I enjoy seeing hif and kira and a select few others still around from time to time and seeing how they are doing.

I secretly keep hoping that I'll come here one day and see that addi, christophe, sweet p, libra, ant, chan, and so so many others have all come back and started posting again.

I just can't help myself. I've always lived in the past :(

Libra!!! Hello! I hope all is well with you :) How are you?

And how are the rest of you that still pop in from time to time?

I'm good! Living with the bf in soul-sucking Silicon Valley, but we both have great jobs so I can't complain really. We are hoping to be able to move to San Francisco or Berkeley in the next year or so --saving up for a house.

I hope you're doing well, Mesh, and everyone else too.

Glad things are going well for you! What line of work are you in these days? I went to San Francisco a few years back with my girlfriend at the time. I loved it there! Spent 8 days going around San Fran, Napa, Sonoma, Pacifica and Half Moon Bay.

I'm doing alright. I've been tentatively diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type. I don't want to take medication but I may have to, at least for a while. But my wife is loving and supportive and for that I am extremely grateful :) I've started volunteering at a local animal shelter, it's quite a bit of fun. I feed the dogs, and my favorite part, I get to take them out into a very large enclosed area and play with them. I love dogs. Cats are cool too. But man, dogs. Good people.

Glad to see the GT Forum is still alive. I'm doing well in retirement, still very happily married, and fiddling around with our Ebay store hawking Coach purses and whatever . . .
Oh Yeah, I'm still a little bit on the conservative side where my politics are concerned. Looking very much forward to seeing the Dems get their butts kicked first week of November.

Hey guys! I'm doing really well, I left NYC rather abruptly earlier this summer and in a shocking turn of events moved in with a man I had known for all of ten weeks, and have been obnoxiously happy ever since. I now live in Connecticut, in the suburbs of all places, and do homemaker-y things like chores around the house and gardening and running errands.

As for why I'm still here, I just have trouble letting things go. :P

That looks great! Congratulations! Glad to see you are doing well. :)

PS do you still make mixes? I always enjoyed them, all those many years ago.

I guess I should specify, I mean music mixes.

Anyhow, don't know when you'll read this, and when any of you other stragglers will, but I hope you all are doing well!

Also, updates from people? How are you few remaining doing since our last round of updates?

Schizoaffective disorder diagnosis revised. I didn't believe that to be the right diagnosis anyway, but I was so out of sorts at the time I just didn't really contest it. I'm just bipolar, which is little surprise, with such a family history. Physical medical issues combined with stress, anxiety, and insomnia(also symptoms of my medical issue as well as bipolar itself) just got so out of hand that psychosis presented. I'm not on any psychiatric medicine no, thank God. That stuff made me feel very weird and...not well. Revised and improved hormone therapy, combined with Vitamins D and B12 which I was very deficient in, and I am like a new man! Wooooo hoooo. Strange and scary how medical issues can cascade into more and more problems.

Also, in just about 5.5 months, I will be a father. I can't put into words how amazing it feels, so I won't even try. Just...whoa.

hmmm. i do come in here once in a while.
Being here is like remembering an old song and you dig out an old record, dim down the lights, pouring a glass of whiskey and enjoy the memories that the old song brings out.

I'm doing ok I guess.
Managing a company now, and running an agency that specialises in original content (feature films and tv series) and I do a little part time lecturing as the schools do ask me to go back and share the experiences with the students.

Life has been a crazy crazy ride since I ventured into the media industry.

I've been travelling around and picked up rock-climbing in the past couple of years. lol, i think it's a mid-life crisis sport for me.

I do DJ once in a while, but only for my friends after-wedding parties.

I think for the past decade or so, I've become really introverted and it's an interesting shift of personality.

I'm really quiet these days, other than for work.

My clients and friends do agree that I've been the most patient person that they've known. And it's a good thing, I suppose.

How's everyone doing?

Congratulations Mesh! I had a baby about 16 weeks ago. It's been quite a ride so far, and I know how inadequate words can be! There aren't even any real proper ones that I can offer, I'm sure everyone gets bombarded with advice, and I know that you can prepare for a baby, but you can't BE PREPARED, as such. Try to enjoy it as much as you can, because my husband and I are already getting nostalgic for a few weeks ago, they just change so quick! Baby Layla would now rather put her self to sleep on her own rather than have me rock her to sleep, and I feel like that was over way too quick!
