have you ever wondered
if magick ever existed
or was it imagination
or fantasy creations
did dragons really happen
or mishappened imaginations
did faeries fly
or were we high
i tell you now my reader
i believe magick in splendour
it does not have to be in light
it is not always in sight
there are forms invisible
there are ways unexplainable
the human mind incomprehensive
the mortal spirit apprehsive
there are magicians still
that break our will
and nights of no end
sleepless we spend
dreams of sweetness they conjure
our insignificant lives they torture
days of mindlessness
nights of sleeplessness
the greatest magi they give us griefe
in the form of the giver of life
no greater power holds mortal men
other than the woe of men
we bow before her
we sing together
alone we mend the pieces
when our lives she thrashes
so tell me my dear reader
are you still a disbeliever
that magick never existed
or ourselves we've resisted...
