The fewer sounds make the fewer minutes
I am one hundred thousand years old
When one cricket under September sky
Sings and sings to itself in the cold
And on a blue and silver night in May
When one wakeful mockingbird makes bold
To breach the awesome dark with careless song
Then I am one million years old
