The soul is dead
that can't be free
suffocated
turned to ashes
it will cease to be
and the person in the eyes
that the soul sees through
kills their body and their mind
in a search to get through
and the fire in the brain
burns with ice cold pain
as the heart pumps acid
that corrodes the bodies veins
and that soul is trapped
in an empty shell
with no voice
and no life to rely upon
so the soul fades away
and the light, it dies
as the person in the eyes
just decides to die...
