The other night I was at a youth organization for christians. I naturally feel out of place, and the obligation to question all things said pertaining to religion. What was mentioned, was the "fact" that God is a perfect being, completely lacking in flaws.
This was in all faculties, an entirely ludicrous statement. Let us begin with Lucipher, better known as Satan, who was cast out from heaven for questioning. So, as it seems, God made one mistake in creating Lucipher, and the other angels, and in imbuing them with the ability to reason. Then, let us move on to a much larger wrench in the argument of a perfect creator. A perfect creator would obviously, and unquestionably make perfect creations, however God made humans. Surely in this aspect, I am not alone in my claim to the imperfection of the human race. Life in general is often riddled with imperfection. The fact that anyone can be deemed hellworthy shows that they are a failed creation, by a seemingly failed creator.
But whats that? There couldnt have been any error, any difference between living things and perfection, was of course, calculated by God and has its own reason, so, as he took all these things into account, is entirely perfect. Well if you ask me, granted you didnt, it seems like an awful lot of consideration and planning for seven days, especially considering that free thought, and the ability of individuals to make choices for themselves, completely debunks any thoughts of a perfect god.
So, I rest my case, God can not be perfect becase he made man. Man is not perfect, and a perfect creator would only have perfect products to show for his work.
